Meet Our Founder

The recording above: Great is Thy Faithfulness is an
old hymn arranged by Joel Raney. In 2011, this arrangement comforted many (who visited the hospital) as Geraldine played. She and her daughter lived in the hospital room with her husband, Patrick, Sr (deceased Aug. 2013) for 67 days and nights during his hospitalization at Lakeside Hospital. Their son Patrick Jr was upstairs performing surgeries most of that time. The Tyrance family lived in Omaha for 30 years.
Geraldine began studying music at 5yrs old and she became Minister of Music at the age of 12yrs old. As a student, Geraldine always received scholarships or assistantships while working as the college choir accompanist for each university that she attended.
In 1967, Geraldine received a BS degree from Elizabeth City St University where she was awarded Who's Who Among Students in Colleges and Universities. When auditioning to sing in the Baltimore Symphony Chorus in 1972, Geraldine was asked to become the accompanist for the Symphony Chorus.
While in Baltimore, Geraldine was also Founder/Director of the Vaughan-Huber Cultural Arts Program. It was because of this Program that she received the assistantship to Morgan State University in 1977. This position allowed her the opportunity to serve as accompanist for Morgan's Choir in Washington, DC during one of Pres Carter's Inaugural Events.
While living in Omaha, she was a member of OMTA, MTNA, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, and Who's Who of American Women. In 1990, Geraldine was hired as a Pioneer Crisis Counselor for the Boys Town Crisis Hotline and later became director of Flanagan High School's music department where the faces® Concept was revealed to her.
Geraldine and her present husband Percy are continuing this faces® Concept, a Kingdom Assignment. Together they are periodically sending financial support to the Good Samaritan Foundation in Haiti. They will soon resume teaching the faces® Concept to their youth. Also, through Mt. Ararat Christian Church's Youth Tutoring Program in VA, efforts are being made
to start teaching the faces® Concept.
